Founded in England in 1986, Pret a Manger prides itself on handmade sandwiches, soups and salads, among other foods, using natural, preservative-free ingredients. Food is prepared daily in every Pret a Manger kitchen for that specific location. Currently, in the United States, there are twenty-three New York Pret a Manger locations and one Washington, DC Pret a Manger location.
