Owen S. Arnoff, EA, has published a book designed as a practical guide for small business owners to sustain business growth. The book contains 4 key areas and 24 essential strategies.

Sacramento Enrolled Agent, Owen S. Arnoff, has written a book, entitled "The Successful Business Owners Manual" as a practical guide for sustained business growth.

The book covers big picture items such as customer service and satisfaction, employee training, business finances and essential marketing. It also covers more narrowly focused items such as offering the right kind of guarantees, the importance of being dispensible, making sure business owners have the "A.B.I.L.ity" to get the right guidance in times of both success and trouble, and how to make the most of whatever skills they already have, among other things.

For example, on the subject of being dispensible, on page 47 of the book, Owen says:

"You didn't see Ray Kroc flipping burgers at McDonalds. You don't see "The Donald" checking guests in at the Trump Casino. In other words, successful businesses run just fine without hands-on, micro-management by their owners. I believe one of the most rewarding forms of 'retirement' is to own your own company and be absent as much as you like. If your company can't function without you for even a day, what would happen if you decided to take a round-the-world cruise or go on a business trip?"

He challenges business owners, continuing:

"It doesn't take a giant leap to get to the question, 'What would happen if you became ill, or disabled, or died?' Would everything you've worked so hard to achieve simply implode? If so, it's time to prepare your staff for a new assignment: replacing YOU!"

"The Successful Business Owners Manual" is a must read for entrepreneurs wanting to grow their business through any stage of its business lifestyle. The guide serves as a valuable self-diagnostic. It also can assist with avoiding the painful parts of business by giving business owners a well-traveled road to growth and profitability and will help to bypass some of the detours and pitfalls that cause so many companies to fail.

The book provides 24 actionable steps business owners can take to ensure they are doing all they can to achieve a healthy return-on-investment. It also gives business owners the number one step they MUST take to achieve on-going success. It was authored by Sacramento Enrolled Agent Owen S. Arnoff who has more than 25 years experience in providing financial advice. Prior to founding Better Business Ventures, Inc., Mr. Arnoff was the CFO for three different companies.

In 1997, Owen founded the firm which would become Better Business Ventures, Inc., providing CPR for taxpayers: tax Consulting, tax Preparation, and tax Representation.
