I also plan to use the blog to offer suggestions on what kinds of skincare products can address specific skin issues like eczema and sunburn.

When Lana Abbott, founder of http://www.MadeForSkin.com, was looking for skincare products for her two sons, she never imagined that it would lead to her opening a business.
"I was searching for natural skincare products for my two sons who were having issues with dry skin," said Abbott. "A lot of the products we tried left a greasy residue, which of course my boys didn't like, so I started looking for a natural skincare product that they would agree with."
After extensive trial and error, Abbott researched blend of natural skin soothing ingredients - such as hemp, seed oil, aloe and Shea butter - that suited her sons' needs, and then found herself inspired to launch a natural skincare business. "If someone would have told me ten years ago that I would be doing this now I never would have believed them," said Abbott while laughing.
Abbott's Web site launched in June of 2008, and has since expanded to offer a broad selection of natural skincare products including bath salts, natural hand soap, skin moisturizers, body lotions and more. In addition, Abbott plans to continue adding more products as they become available.
"Right now I'm exploring athletic skincare products, and I'm looking to add a line of moisturizers, anti-chaffing cream and soaps designed for athletes," said Abbott. "We're also working with a retailer that offers exclusively hemp-based skincare products; our hemp-based skincare products fit perfectly. Hemp is great for dry and damaged skin and is one of the key ingredients in a number of other products."
In addition to offering a broad selection of products, Abbott plans to use her new blog at http://www.SpeakingOfMadeForSkin.com to discuss her entire skincare line as well as specific skin issues and how they can be solved.
"On the blog I'll be doing little write-ups about different skincare products, and talking about their applications and benefits," said Abbott. "I also plan to use the blog to offer suggestions on what kinds of skincare products can address specific skin issues like eczema and sunburn."
Abbott also hopes to use the blog to reach a wide audience for her products. "Our products are designed with everyday use in mind, from head-to-toe, and we want to create quality products with some of nature's best natural ingredients. With numerous different products on the market, we want to get our name out there. We want people to know there is a great natural skincare line with products that deals with everyday skin problems; be it dry skin or more serious skin problems like eczema or what have you," said Abbott.
The skincare line from MadeForSkin.com has been successful in reaching both male and female audiences around the world, including areas in western Canada, the U.K. and the United States. "Our product line is simple - offering something for everyone. The common link being that they contain nature's best skin soothing and moisturizing ingredients, but without the dyes, harsh perfumes or 'fillers' you often find with skincare products," added Abbott.
MadeForSkin.com is a label consumers are sure to remember because of their creative and catchy brand name, their quality products that sooth the skin and their excellent customer service.
