User-Recommended Deals Get Verified by BeatThat - Can be Displayed by Popularity or By BeatThat's Rating.

But discriminating shoppers at BeatThat know that the Rating and Popularity rankings are the easiest way to find the truly Awesome deals.

BeatThat.com (http://www.beatthat.com) has changed its home page to feature the "Most Awesome" deals from all corners of the Internet. This new core feature of BeatThat will make the site a must "check every day" for the millions of cost-conscious shoppers looking for deals.

Wide Range of Product Types

There is an infinite diversity of product types in the deals shown at BeatThat.com. In just one recent day, shoppers submitted deals (all of which were verified by BeatThat) from over a dozen different major product categories, including Health and Beauty Aids, Posters, Music, Clothing, Electronics, and Kitchen items.

"For shoppers who like to quickly browse through a wide variety of deals, BeatThat.com can't be beat," says David Parker, CEO of DigitalAdvisor LLC, the company that manages BeatThat. "Think of BeatThat.com's home page as a virtual checkout line at the grocery store - filled with great items that are hard to resist - except at BeatThat, many of the products are free!"

Prices Starting at: Free!

Many of the deals shown on the BeatThat.com home page feature free items, with others less than $5 including shipping. "BeatThat.com's visitors are especially interested in free and low-cost deals," said Parker. "When you show the deals ranked by popularity, inevitably low-priced or free deals show up on top."

Verifying and Rating the Deals - Lame to Awesome!

The BeatThat staff verifies and rates every deal submitted to the site. Verification ensures that the deal actually exists, the web page is active, and the price is accurate. The rating of the sites ranges from "Lame" to "Awesome." "It's very difficult for a deal to gain an 'Awesome' rating," CEO Parker reports. "An Awesome Deal has to be way better than can be found anywhere else, for a product that has consumer appeal."

Ranking the Deals - Most Recent, Popularity, or BeatThat Rating

All Deals are shown by the day they were submitted. Within each day, the ranking of the deals can be done by Most Recent, BeatThat Rating, or Popularity. The default is Most Recent. "We show the Most Recent deals first to make sure every deal gets the attention it deserves," says Parker. "But discriminating shoppers at BeatThat know that the Rating and Popularity rankings are the easiest way to find the truly Awesome deals."

Most Awesome Deal of the Day - Worth $100!

Sometime after a day ends, the BeatThat staff selects a top deal from all deals submitted to the site for that day. The person who submitted that deal receives $100, via PayPal. Recent daily winners include a $1 album download (normally $7), a free dog sleeping bag, a free first aid kit, and a $5 sale at the retailer Arden B. "This is a way to inject some excitement into the process of finding deals - if you find a great deal, tell BeatThat first, and you may win $100!" says Parker.
