2009 Flu Season Is Here: Safeguard Kids' Health, Save Parents' Sanity

According to the Centers for Disease Control, 5-20% of the U.S. population will contract influenza, or the seasonal flu, this year. The reported risks associated with H1N1 add to parents' concerns. A new parenting product, quickly earning the moniker Safeguard on a String, keeps kids' stuff off germ-covered floors.

The Hold It Baby On-the-Go Toy Organizer has already earned the nickname Sanity On a String.

With the arrival of the 2009 flu season, Safeguard On a String is an equally befitting label.

In response to the barrage of warnings about H1N1, moms diligently clean bacteria off shopping cart handles, utilize cloth high chair covers, and purchase hand sanitizer. But they're not always prepared to sanitize a sippy cup or stuffed animal that's dropped onto a germ-covered floor.

"I've always been ultra-concerned about germs. The arrival of kids and constant mention of H1N1 in the news has put me over the edge," confessed self-described germaphobe Heather DeAgostine.

The Hold It Baby On-the-Go Toy Organizer easily and effectively solves this problem.

Able to secure up to six items at a time to a car seat, stroller, high chair, or shopping cart, the Hold It Baby prevents kids from dropping (or throwing) sippy cups, snack cups, stuffed animals, books, toys, and other items onto a germ-covered floor. It also prevents parents from having to engage in frequently played games of Uh-Oh, which is the product's primary objective.

"Although H1N1 was nothing more than letters and numbers when the Hold It Baby was in its initial development phase, we're happy the product is providing parents with an additional measure of security during what has been projected to be a particularly complicated flu season," noted Elizabeth Lyons, Hold It Baby's Founder and CEO.

The non-toxic, CPSIA compliant product is intended for ages 18+ months in the U.S.A. and 3+ years in Canada, Europe and Australia.
