San Jose, CA (PRWEB) October 14, 2009
As Black Friday 2009 approaches, shoppers are gearing up. They're checking the local papers for announcements, clipping coupons and advertisements, and maybe even getting out the sleeping bags in preparation for a night spent in the parking lot of their favorite store.
Meanwhile, the smartest shoppers are simply sitting at their computers. They already know that Best Buy does not have plans for major price cuts this Black Friday, while HP has assured that their holiday season prices will not be any less aggressive than last year. They already know that Walmart is not releasing any information about their Black Friday products or sales until November 23rd, and on top of that, these smart shoppers have already qualified to win big cash prizes. And that's because they're on BlackFriday.fm (http://www.blackfriday.fm).
Yes, it is as easy as it sounds. At BlackFriday.fm, shoppers can enjoy a simple and clean layout, and easy navigation. On the home page, they'll find an up to date news feed, a list of Black Friday 2009 stores, fun and informative videos, a chance to enter to win fantastic giveaways, and the opportunity to sign-up to receive the latest BlackFriday updates via e-mail. They can also search for stores and products by keyword, or by using a filtered search that allows them to select a price range, store and/or category.
From the home page, shoppers can also browse store pages, which show what time each store's Black Friday sale will begin, and a list of the store's products and prices - "Early Bird Specials" are noted, along with items that are available online, and those that come with special rebate offers. On these pages, shoppers can use the "Store Finder" feature to find the nearest store location, or they can select the "Coupon" link, which directs them to BlackFriday.fm's sister site, Dealspl.us. There, shoppers can enjoy a variety of deals and coupons from their favorite stores all year round. Shoppers can also access BlackFriday.fm's other sister site, Sazze.com from the home page, which offers a wide array of helpful product reviews.
If that isn't easy enough, for added convenience and safety, BlackFriday.fm has become the first Black Friday site to give visitors the option to log-in through either Facebook or Twitter. This eliminates the need to make a new username and password, and enables shoppers to easily access BlackFriday.fm's Shopping List feature, which allows users to create and save a shopping list that can be edited or printed any time they sign-in. While logged in, users are also able to share their favorite deals, articles, and comments by posting them to their Facebook profiles or Twitter feeds.
This year, smart shoppers are putting down the newspapers and the scissors. They are leaving behind Black Friday websites that are crowded with disorganized ads and unhelpful information. In preparation for November 27th, 2009, smart shoppers are loging-in to BlackFriday.fm for all of their holiday shopping needs.
BlackFriday.fm was launched in 2008, and is the sister site of DealsPl.us. While it is only a year old, it has already been listed in Mashable's "Top 10 Best Resources for Black Friday," and it is the only Black Friday website to be included in Wikipedia.
