Indaer, a rapidly-growing supplier of technical consulting services to airlines and aircraft lessors, today announced that Derek Nice will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer. He will lead a team of consultants, aerospace engineers and maintenance technicians supporting airlines and leasing companies from almost two dozen countries in North and South America, Europe and Asia.
Nice, who will be based in Canada, joins Indaer with a strong track record of creating and growing aerospace businesses, most recently ExelTech Aerospace, which he founded in 2000 and built to be a global presence in regional MRO, with 600 employees and more than 100 customers around the world, before retiring in 2008.

Established in 2002 in Medellin, Colombia, Indaer is best known as one of the largest independent aviation consultancies in the Latin American market, but since 2006 it has been growing its presence in other key regions too.
