This project is proof that business can make money and have a social conscience too. The quality of the art submitted thus far is outstanding. I am very excited to be a part of something I am very passionate about.
Rochester, NY (PRWEB) October 14, 2009
A web only sale featuring artists afflicted with MS and printed on t-shirts was updated to now include mugs. This unique collection of art is now available at MS T-Shirts. For each item sold Art to Shirt will donate directly to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Raising MS awareness as well as raising funds for additional research will be the focus of this on going sale.
The T-shirts being produced are 100% preshrunk cotton first cut and heavy using Eco friendly water based inks. The images become part of the shirt and they are ultra soft. The mugs are a white heavy ceramic and dish washer safe. When asked about the sale Todd Walbridge (project director) said "This project is proof that business can make money and have a social conscience too. The quality of the art submitted thus far is outstanding. I am very excited to be a part of something I am very passionate about."
New submissions are coming in and have been added on a monthly basis. The artists that have contributed to this project are from many points in the US and from as far away as Poland. They have demonstrated that although this disease can inhibit the body their creativity and will to create cannot be suppressed
Multiple Sclerosis affects approx 400,000 people in the US and an estimated 2.5 million worldwide. Purchasing a shirt will help support an MS artist and a donation is made to NMSS to further research into finding a cure
