Paradise Valley, Ariz. (PRWEB) October 14, 2009
On October 17th and 18th, board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Robert Cohen of the Scottsdale Center for Plastic Surgery (http://www.scottsdalecenterforplasticsurgery.com/) will be a featured speaker discussing plastic surgery at the Phoenix Convention Center during the Arizona Women's Expo. Expected to draw crowds of over 30,000, this event is one of the most extensive women's expos in the United States and benefits the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation for breast cancer research.
"I'm excited to be a part of this event," says Dr. Cohen. "There will be some interesting presenters and vendors, and I think all attendees will appreciate that proceeds from the event go toward breast cancer research. As a plastic surgeon with a large number of breast enhancement patients, breast health is a very important issue to me."
Dr. Cohen will be discussing all aspects of cosmetic breast surgery including the latest techniques in breast lift surgery, breast reduction, corrective breast surgery and breast augmentation in Phoenix. Dr. Cohen, voted a "Top Doc" in plastic surgery by Phoenix Magazine, is highly regarded for excellence in breast and body surgery. His practice, the Scottsdale Center for Plastic Surgery, attracts patients not only from all over Arizona, but from across the US and other countries as well.
"Cosmetic breast surgery is a topic of significant interest to many women," says Dr. Cohen. "Whether they feel their breasts are too large, too small or too droopy, I offer surgical options to improve their appearance and enhance their self-esteem. Every breast is unique; therefore I have many different techniques that can be customized in order to obtain the best result. This is also true for many of the other Phoenix plastic surgery procedures that I perform."
Dr. Cohen's highly anticipated presentations will provide detailed explanations of surgical options for different aesthetic breast issues, including before and after photos of several patients. Dr. Cohen feels that these photos will be particularly helpful to show various approaches for different body types. In all cases, a beautiful and natural-looking result is the ultimate goal.
"Breast surgery is not simply a technical procedure, like removing an inflamed appendix," explains Dr. Cohen. "It is truly an art form that requires a thorough understanding of breast aesthetics, particularly in relationship to the patient's overall body framework. I hope to demonstrate this idea through my discussion and photo examples of various breast surgeries I have performed."
Dr. Robert Cohen, founder of the Scottsdale Center for Plastic Surgery (http://www.scottsdalecenterforplasticsurgery.com), will be speaking at the Arizona Women's Expo, at 11:30 AM on Saturday, October 17th and 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 18th. He will also be available for questions after his presentations. Dr. Cohen is an Ivy League trained plastic surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
