Tonka Beans Joins the Girls Going Places Entrepreneurship Conference in New York City as Corporate Sponsor and Program Mentor

Tonka Beans' Zina Spezakis is to be a mentor at the Girls Going Places conference taking place in New York on October 15th 2009. The conference is designed to educate young women on entrepreneurship and promote financial independence - a very critical step in empowering women for a toward a sound career.

New York City-based Wealth Advisory Group LLC, in partnership with Hunter College (CUNY) and The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America (Guardian)® is organizing the Girls Going Places Entrepreneurship Conference at Hunter College of the City University of New York, on Thursday, October 15, 2009 from 8:30AM to 2:30PM.

The conference is designed to mentor and educate young women ages 12 to 18 about entrepreneurship and financial independence and give local women in business a platform to mentor and inspire future female entrepreneurs. More than 100 students from middle and high schools throughout New York are registered to attend the conference.
