Port of Spain, Trinidad (PRWEB) October 15, 2009
Capricorn Enterprizes Ltd today announced the official launch of capricorncaribbean.com. The website is designed to offer the casino management companies services to operators and investors in the Caribbean and worldwide markets.
Capricorn's main offices are in Port of Spain, Trinidad which is home to a rich mix of different cultures. In the nineteenth century the population of Port of Spain consisted of Spaniards, Africans, French republican soldiers, retired pirates and French nobility. Today the diversity of Indian, African, Chinese and European people give this city a vibrant and unique atmosphere and one where different cultures have grown and become comfortable together. It is from this city that Capricorn takes the largest part of its workforce. The company has made considerable investment in new warehousing facilities and expanding its technical and training teams. These are the resources that John Charles, managing director of Capricorn, believes will allow the company to provide a full menu of casino technical and management services to the international markets.
Charles explained "After two years of investment and re-structure the company now has the resources to be the market leader in the Caribbean arena. The launch of the new web-site allows us to present Capricorn as a 'one stop shop' of resources and advice to the industry in all areas of casino operation. Our management teams have considerable experience in difficult and emerging markets and it is this expertise that enables us to offer a full range of casino management services, from a one off marketing project, to full turn-key operations and acquisitions. Cruise ship 'fit out' is an area in which Capricorn has considerable experience and a part of our business that we intend to grow with the aid of the new web-site"
The company directly employs approximately a hundred and seventy people in the Caribbean, Europe and Latin America. The group operates eight casinos in the Caribbean along with an electronics company and a new armed security company which do not trade under the Capricorn umbrella.
