Comparative Biometric Testing Round 7 Results

International Biometric Group (IBG) is hosting a free webcast, "Comparative Biometric Testing Round 7 Results," on Thursday October 15th at 1:00 pm EST.

IBG's Comparative Biometric Testing (CBT) Round 7 evaluated the performance of emerging biometric technologies including iris, voice and fingerprint systems. Systems tested included:

  • IrisGuard IG-AD100 (iris recognition)
  • Eye Controls SafeMatch (iris recognition)
  • AGNITIO ASIS (voice biometrics)
  • TST Biometrics BiRD Series 3 (contactless fingerprint)

In this webcast, IBG Director of Special Projects Michael Thieme will discuss major findings of the test results, including system accuracy and usability, enrollment rates and transaction times.

IBG collected over 70,000 samples and performed more than 50,000,000 comparisons over the several-week test. CBT Round 7 results provide unique and essential insights into the performance and usability of leading-edge biometric recognition systems.

CBT results are used by government agencies, systems integrators, and other firms to make decisions on deployments, develop technology roadmaps, and migrate to next-generation systems.
