Dance Karma Entertainment Launches TV Series, Casting Call for All Dancers, Recording Artists and Bands

American Dance Legend, a dance workshop taped for a reality TV series, is searching for dancers to participate in season one. Added to the national search is the quest for recording artists and bands who want to be published on the TV show's soundtrack.

Norfolk, VA (PRWEB) October 16, 2009 -- Dance Karma Entertainment has begun pre-production of its latest reality TV show, American Dance Legend. The high-energy series features inspiring stories of talented hopefuls who square off in an intense three-day "dance off," while celebrity judges provide top-notch coaching and critique.

"It's all about talent, technique and fun," said American Dance Legend Creator and Executive Producer Karma Butler. "And although the competition is fierce, I'm most proud of the show's motivational message. We're not only catapulting unknown dancers into the entertainment spotlight -- we're doing it in a positive way."

Also, contestants will have the rare chance to rub shoulders with celebrity choreographers -- professionals who have worked with such high-profile stars as P-Diddy, Beyonce, Will Smith, Wade Robson, Debbie Allen and Jay-Z.

And for the winner? Heralded as the "American Dance Legend," the top dancer will receive cash, a professional photo shoot, plus what could be the most valuable prize of all: a meeting with a premiere New York talent agency for possible representation. The winner will also appear at charity events and other engagements, "to serve as a positive role model for a new generation of dancers," Butler said.

Dancers ages 14 to 26 are invited to apply as contestants at www.dancekarma.com. Recording artists of all musical genres with broadcast-quality tracks are also encouraged to apply, for possible inclusion on the program as well as the American Dance Legend--Season One soundtrack.
