Villeroy & Boch is a German based pottery company set up in 1748 by Francois Boch. Later, the company moved to nearby Luxembourg where it still operates a porcelain factory today. In 1801 the company moved to the nearby town of Mettlach, Germany, and in 1836 the company merged with that of a competitor Nicolas Villeroy and so because Villeroy & Boch.

Plumbworld is based in Evesham, Worcestershire and now employs 50 staff within their 2,000 sqm, purpose built warehouse and offices. The company had a turnover in 2008 in excess of £18 Million. Plumbworld was established in 1999 by James and Anita Hickman who sold the business to The Grafton Group Plc in December 2006.
