Almighty Resigns Jay Peak Resort Advertising Account

Longstanding, successful and award-winning agency and client partnership comes to an end

Boston, MA (PRWEB) October 18, 2009 -- It's been almost five years since Almighty developed and repositioned the Jay Peak Resort brand, and in the process helped redefine ski resort advertising and marketing.

Highlights of the relationship include:

2005/06, 2007/08, 2008/09 winner of The National Ski Areas Association's "Best Overall Marketing Program" award

We pride ourselves on the longevity of our client relationships, but it's recently become clear to us that we do not share the same vision for Jay Peak's business goals and how they will be accomplished from a marketing perspective. And given the level of investment and expansion taking place at Jay Peak, we're not comfortable moving forward without them having a cohesive plan

2007/08 - 30% increase in paid visits over the previous season

2008/09 - Second-best season in resort history for skier visits (despite a spiraling economy and depressed travel market)

Developed / Implemented a comprehensive Social Media strategy/tech infrastructure for the resort (one of the earliest and most robust examples in the ski industry)

Today, Almighty resigns its agency of record status with the resort.
