The new movie Up in the Attic is now available on DVD as of 10/18/2009. Up in the Attic is about some extremely popular teenagers in the 1980's Hip Hop Era who everyone wanted to get with. The girls wanted them, the Nerds wanted to get into their inner circle, the bully wanted to beat up the head guy, the old school street legends wanted to party with them and the teenage vices of drugs and peer pressure was very evident. Will these guys enjoy the fast life forever? Enter the infamous Attic! Up in the Attic has comedy, drama and a strong dose of reality. (It contains adult language and images of drug use).

It's the 1980's in the New Jersey Suburbs. A group of very popular teenagers have close access to all the things that are New York City. They are sought after by the girls, the nerds and everyone else. They have the good looks. They have advanced knowledge of history and culture. They can rap, DJ, dance and human beat box. They are funny and have magnetic personalities. On top of that there are many rumors about the other things that they do up in the attic which is the lead character Jamal's room.

Jamal's mother works hard and by the time she gets home she makes sure him and his little sister has their homework done and are fed and then she goes to her bedroom to relax and get some sleep. That's when the party starts, but does it ever end? Enter the attic.
Up in the Attic is a coming of age story with a realistic mix of drama and comedy.

The lead character is actor Jamian Blackmon who plays Jamal and his posse Daquan and Asiatic (Real Brothers), Lakim (The Loud One), Lorenzo (The Instigator), Bookworm and I-Self. Narration by Steven A. Robinson who plays King Hannibal Saladine Allah, Ericka M. Williams is Mommy Cooks.

Special guest appearances by Hip Hop Old School legends and Pioneers Crash Crews Shubee and Yoda , Zulu Kings, DJ Cool Clyde, DJ Cisco, Chill Rob Gee (I Got the Power), Hip Hop Radio Personality Champagne, Ericka M. Williams and more.
