Boomi, the market and technology leader for on-demand integration, today announced it has hired Scott Crawford, formerly of IBM and Ascential Software, as its Vice President of Sales. Scott will be based in the company's San Francisco offices and will have responsibility for the company's direct and indirect sales channels worldwide.

Boomi is the creator of AtomSphere, a complete on-demand integration service that enables companies to link any combination of SaaS and on-premise applications together without the burden of installing and maintaining integration software or appliances. Crawford brings a wealth of sales and sales management experience working in both early stage and large corporate environments as well as a deep understanding of the integration software industry. Prior to his tenure with Ascential and IBM, Crawford drove significant revenue growth in various sales management roles for i2 Technologies, Inforte and Cambridge Technology Partners. He also brings significant international experience having led IBM's integration software sales teams throughout Asia and in southwest Europe, based in Shanghai and Paris respectively.

Scott earned his degree in Information Systems from James Madison University and his MBA from the Darden School of Business Administration, University of Virginia.
