Mary Anna Keshen Santa Fe, NM, Photographer and Artist in Hubbard Museum Juried Exhibition
The Hubbard Museum, an affiliated museum of the Smithsonian in Washington has selected two photographs by Mary Anna Keshen, a Santa Fe, NM, artist and photographer to be in its annual juried exhibition showcasing Southwestern photography.
Santa Fe, NM (PRWEB) October 18, 2009 -- The Hubbard Museum, an affiliated museum of the Smithsonian in Washington has selected two photographs by Mary Anna Keshen, a Santa Fe, NM, artist and photographer to be in its annual juried exhibition showcasing Southwestern photography.
The two pieces selected were photographs taken of the Grand Canyon in the fall and winter seasons and were shot with a Nikon-D 700 camera.
Works for the exhibition were selected from a field of artist submissions from around the US. The Hubbard Museum's missive is to showcase Southwestern art and the art and history of the West.
The exhibition opened on September 27th at the Hubbard, located in Ruidoso, NM, and will continue through the end of December, 2009.
Mary Anna Keshen's studio is located in Santa Fe, NM. Her body of work reflects her extensive travels, training and experience in both abstract painting and photography. One of her primary interests and experience is in utilizing the technological advances in photography, working with software applications and techniques that enhance the impact, creativity and intensity of photographic images.
