Austin, TX (PRWEB) October 18, 2009
McElroy Translation, a full-service language services provider based in Austin, Texas, today announced a reorganization of the company. Olga Pechnenko-Kopp, a translation industry expert, has been named Chief Executive Officer.
Diane and Ryan McElroy, owners of the company and representatives for the McElroy family, personally selected Pechnenko-Kopp to lead the reorganization with the intention of providing a new generation of leadership that will fulfill goals of innovation and quality in the language services industry.
"More than 40 years ago, my husband, Ralph McElroy, founded McElroy Translation and became one of the true innovators in the translation business--creating a stable working environment for translators and demanding quality for customers at all times," said Diane McElroy. "Now we are re-committing to that ideal with an intense focus on customer service and high-quality, cost-effective translations."
Ryan McElroy continued, "I know that my father was extremely proud of the company that he built and the loyal employees that have served the company well over these many years. The family is deeply grateful for their ongoing service. We are excited about these changes, and we are confident that this great team will continue to make the family proud."
In addition, the company announced that Rose Neas, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, will continue to serve in that role, and Jennifer Cardenas will serve as Director of Production. Both will report directly to Pechnenko-Kopp.
"I am honored to accept the position of CEO at McElroy Translation," said Pechnenko-Kopp. "My primary goal is to focus on results. We have an amazing team, years of experience and great translators. I am excited to lead this new phase of such a respected Austin-based company."
Born in Kazakhstan and raised in Kaliningrad, Russia, Pechnenko-Kopp has a rich background in the translation industry and as an entrepreneur. In 2005, having worked earlier as an intern for McElroy, she joined the company as a member of the sales team and quickly advanced to Business Development Manager for the energy industry. In 2008, she left the company to start her own marketing firm.
