High school students are worried that they are not getting the help they need to apply for college admission. Many are concerned that high school guidance counselors are simply too busy to give them the help they really need - someone to walk them through the process and make them aware of all of their options for admission, scholarships and financial aid.
High school senior, Samantha Fields, was recently quoted in a letter to the editor of the Keene Sentinel (NH). Samantha comments, "I am a senior [in high school], and I have already begun the daunting task of college searching. I feel like I'm struggling to find scholarships and colleges, and as the oldest child in my family, my parents are having a hard time helping me."
College admissions and financial aid specialist Jeanmarie Keller knows all too well the confusion and lack of support surrounding college admissions and financial aid. Keller is the creator of the "Get Noticed, Get In and Get Money" system for high school student and parents. She teaches her clients everything they need to do to get NOTICED in the admissions office, get IN at the college that is right for them and get MONEY to help pay the tuition bill. "Getting in to college these days is more confusing than ever before for both students and parents - not to mention finding the money to pay for college and learning how to navigate though the complex financial aid system" says Keller.
Often, parents don't even know where to begin to find the hidden money opportunities to pay for child's college education. For that reason, Keller has just launched a new low cost program to teach parents the step-by-step secrets of finding cash for college. Her brand new teleseminar series called "Show Me The Money: The College Financial Aid Bootcamp For Parents" starts on Monday, November 9 and runs for two consecutive weeks. Jeanmarie will walk participants through creating an entire financial aid plan that will enable them to save valuable time, energy, and stress by learning the ins-and-outs of college financial aid from a seasoned industry expert.
These calls will be jam-packed with simple strategies, tactics and resources that any parent can easily put into place immediately to increase opportunities for finding money to help pay their child's college tuition bill. Plus, parents will receive learning guides, exercises and templates and audio recordings of each session.
