Hollister, a Boston based recruiting firm, announced today they have become an Annual Gold Level sponsor for the American Marketing Association (AMA) Boston Chapter.

As the organization's staffing sponsor, Hollister chose to support AMA Boston in large part due to its commanding reputation as a source of talent in the greater Boston creative and marketing space.

"The AMA is known for attracting the best and brightest marketing professionals across all industries in Massachusetts," explained Kip Hollister, Founder and CEO of Hollister. "As we continue to enhance our creative and marketing services, we are thrilled to be working closely with the AMA and its many talented members."

Hollister was also drawn to the chapter because of its recent advancements in social media, which enable members to connect and interact via social networking forums on its website (http://www.connect.amaboston.org). AMA's recent advancements are strongly aligned with Hollister's own innovative Recruiting 2.0 model. Since the launch of the AMA Connect site in 2008, it has drawn in 1,259 Bostonians with backgrounds in traditional and new media, PR, and marketing. Similar in style to Facebook, the AMA Connect site allows members to create profiles, interact with other members directly on the site, and network with professionals across the region.

"It's very refreshing to align with an organization that is at the forefront of social media innovation in the creative and marketing realm," said Meaghan Toland, Hollister's Marketing Director and AMA Board Member. "Having watched the AMA Connect site and the chapter in general evolve over the past year, I anticipate a very exciting year to come."

Myles Bristowe, the chapter's President, is pleased to see Hollister taking a strong interest in development and growth of the AMA Boston chapter. "I am certain that our partnership with Hollister will continue to elevate the quality and prominence of our chapter."
