The BDSO is a unique directory of detailed online statistics put in place by the ISQ in collaboration with all the ministries and organizations that produce statistics in the province. The acquisition of CartoVista allows the ISQ to greatly improve its mapping applications while offering better support for the analysis needed by its internal and external users.

With its vector-based interface, CartoVista allows the dynamic display of interactive maps with a maximum of flexibility. In particular, the Adobe Flex development environment facilitates the development of custom dashboard applications.
