The Corporate Whistleblower Initiates A Campaign In California For Victims Who had their car Repo'd and were given a notice about how much it would cost to get (redeem) their car back. The group is saying," we are informed that the offending California banks were doing this to California victims from October of 2005 to January of 2009. We think this could affect 10,000's of Californians." Victims, or individuals wishing more information can contact the Corporate Whistleblower Center at 866-714-6466, or contact the group via their web site at Http://CorporateWhistleblowerCenter.Com/

(PRWEB) October 20, 2009 -- Americas Watchdog's Corporate Whistleblower Center is initiating a state wide investigation in the state of California involving Major California Banks and other California financial companies, that may have, or may have tried to overcharge consumers who attempted to recover their repossessed car or truck. According to the group, "we have discovered that when big banks, or financial institutions in California were repossessing cars, they would request that the consumer pay a predetermined, exact amount. We found that when the bank or financial institution informed the consumer about the amount they owed to redeem their car, the amount was inflated every time. These actions are illegal whether you ultimately try to get your car back or not. " The Corporate Whistleblower Center is saying, "California Banks and financial institutions should not be allowed to take advantage of consumers like this. We want to hear from anyone in California, who has experienced this." Whether a consumer tried to get their car back or not, if a California resident has had this car/truck repo inflated fee scam happen to them, they should call the Corporate Whistleblower Center immediately at 866-714-6466, or contact the group via its web at Http://CorporateWhistleBlowerCenter.Com

According to Americas Watchdog's Corporate Whistleblower Center, "we are extremely concerned that African Americans, Hispanics, or working class whites have been duped when they go to redeem their repossessed car, with new, or added fees. If you know of anyone in the State of California, who has had a car repossessed, in the time frames we have outlined, please share this press release with them." For more information please contact the Corporate Whistleblower Center at 866-714-6466, or contact the group via its web site at Http://CorporateWhistleblowerCenter.Com
