Creative Edge Public Relations presents its 4th Annual Where Hip Hop Meets Couture Artist Showcase featuring hip hop performances from San Quinn, Erk tha Jerk, Jacka, Evenodds, and Paper Route. Fashion designers presented in the show are: Ed Hardy, Red Monkey, Cezer, Toby Tyler, Grace Mae Collection and Sean John model Tracey Dukes will be featured on the runway all set on the steps of the Historic rotunda of San Francisco's City Hall. Portion of the proceeds benefits Glide United Methodist Church.
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) October 22, 2009 -- On November 6th 2009 from 7pm to 11pm, Creative Edge Public Relations will present the 4th Annual " Where Hip Hop Meets Couture Artist Showcase" in the Historic rotunda of San Francisco's city hall. The evening will consist of live performances, hip hop and couture fashions and industry professionals from around the country. Within the beautiful grandeur of San Francisco City Hall, two performance stages will entertain invited guests in the North and South courts.
The North Light Court will highlight musical sounds from the genres of neo soul, rhythm and blues, and contemporary pop. Featured in this room will be Leah Tysse, winner of the Memphis Blues Award and featured vocalist in The Pursuit of Happiness, pop diva Christelle from Las Vegas and the soulful sounds of Berkley's own Netta B. Chicago's famed house DJ lee Farmer, leader of the Soul Selector DJ's and featured DJ at the Grammy's after party, will cover the Soul Lounge at the event.
Performing simultaneously in the South court will be three of the area's top Hip Hop artists and the first time that all three will grace the stage at one venue. The featured artists in this room will be Erk tha Jerk, performing his hit single "Love You Right Here", The Jacka, performing his MTV Jams hit song from his video, "Glamorous Life" and San Quinn, one of the oldest and most revered talents from the Bay. Along with these performers will be Richmond's Paper Route, Daly City's Radikal the Loose Kannon and up and coming duo, Evenodds who has most recently received radio play for their song, "Feels Good". New York based Source Magazine will feature these talents in their magazine and will cover the event for a National publication launch. DJ Juice, a West Coast Core DJ and NBA Allstar game after party DJ will cover the music in the Source Room.
Concluding the showcase will be a fashion show featuring designers such as Ed Hardy, Toby Taylor, Grace Mae, Cezer NYC, and the Sock Boutique. Tracey Dukes, featured model for Macy's Sean John and Rip the Runway will highlight the pool of beautiful models at the show.
Industry professionals from Warner Brothers, Interscope, Violators Management, and Make It Happen Entertainment will convene in the Rotunda for a VIP only reception to meet and greet selected talent and will participate in a pre cocktail soiree at Le Club in the Nob Hill area of San Francisco.
The showcase's Mistress of Ceremonies will be Malika from Puffy's Making the Band and the host for the evening will be Sadat, the Krown Prence, former basketball star at University of San Francisco and professional player in the Japanese league. An after party hosted by selected players from Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers will occur after the showcase at Club 525 located at 525 Howard with invited guests such as Jay Z, Snoop Dogg and other celebrity guests. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the mentoring program at the Glide Foundation at Glide United Methodist Church.
Tickets for this event will be 40 dollars in advance, 50 dollars at the door and VIP tickets are 100 dollars. Tickets will be available at Gussies Chicken and Waffles located on Eddy at Fillmore in the Historic Fillmore District and Highline Custom Jewelry located in the Southland Mall in Hayward.
