University of Southern California and CollegeHighlites Announce Licensing Agreement

CollegeHighlites to Focus on selling first of its kind, USC Holiday Lights

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) October 23, 2009 -- The University of Southern California (USC) and CollegeHighlites are pleased to announce a licensing agreement for officially licensed holiday lights. The cardinal and gold lights and wiring embody the spirit of Troy, as well as, the spirit of the holidays.

The idea was the brain child of long time college football fanatic, Dave Bursin, President of CollegeHighlites. "I grew tired of purchasing enough strands every year to find the proper colors to match my Alma mater. And the wiring, I could never get to match at all," Bursin said. "My wife said why don't you just start making them for college fans everywhere. And that's how we started."

Lori Payton, Parent Teacher Council Member, is very pleased with the agreement. "These lights focus the attention on what is good about college and college spirit," Payton said. "It's hard to believe these have never been done before, but I'm glad they finally are now."

While the current model focuses on USC, CollegeHighlites is securing an agreement with the College Licensing Committee (CLC), which governs licensing for over 187 universities and colleges throughout the United States. This agreement will be finished within weeks.

The mini-lights can be found at the USC Bookstores and online. The product is also available on the CollegeHighlites website at www.collegehighlites.com and stores and boutiques throughout Southern California.

CollegeHighlites is a subsidiary of Never Graduate, LLC located in Los Angeles and San Diego County.
