We want to make sure companies not only find Nashville the nation's leading relocation destination--but a welcoming place for newcomers.
Nashville, TN (PRWEB) October 22, 2009
A new alliance was announced today to assist businesses in their relocations to Nashville, Tennessee. "The Smart-Moves Network" has been established to facilitate smoother corporate relocations. With the Smart-Moves formation announcement also came the launch of their new web-based planning tool: Smart-Moves. Smart-Moves co-founder, Nancy Leach, believes such corporate assistance is long overdue.
"Nashville has repeatedly received national attention as America's leading city to relocate to," she comments. "Our goal is to make relocation transitions run smoothly and by helping newcomers network in Nashville even before they arrive."
Smart-Moves' free web-based planning tool allows registrants to enter data about company size, type, needs, and moving goals. Based on that data, the site generates customized GANTT charts for planning and project management. Email reminders help a registrants' project stay on track.
Co-founder, John Randall Dennis, explains, "Smart-Moves is like WebMD for relocations. No website is a replacement for a licensed physician or qualified relocation specialist. Smart-Moves helps companies realize the scope, components and timelines of such a major undertaking."
In the coming months, Smart-Moves will be announcing special strategic alliances, discounts, and other key services supporting companies relocating to Nashville. Says Leach, "We want to make sure companies not only find Nashville the nation's leading relocation destination--but a welcoming place for newcomers."
