Premier Literacy Canada realeases French / English Literacy Software

Premier Assistive Canada is pleased to announce the release of their new and exciting French learning tools.

Sydney, Nova Scotia (PRWEB) October 23, 2009 -- Premier Assistive Canada is pleased to announce the release of their new and exciting French learning tools.

Each and every Premier product is rooted in a belief that Universal Design for Learning is an attainable goal and a necessary goal. As a bilingual country with two official languages, the learning tools designed to support and enable UDL should reflect Canadian lingual diversity.

For many years, Premier learning tools provided support for French by offering products that read and write in French and English. With the release of multi-lingual products, Premier has expanded its support of French in the classroom. The cornerstone of these new French learning tools is the French Talking Dictionary which offers more than 189 000 words and definitions in French. The Premier French learning tools also include French spell-check, scan and OCR as well as French summarization. In addition to all of our products supporting the French language, Universal Reader , E-Text Reader and French Talking Dictionary also include a selectable French/English interface, French help files and French training videos.

The inclusion of French learning tools in the Premier product line-up provides a true French Canadian product offering. Each and every tool has been translated by French Canadians to give it a true Canadian interface, no mechanical translation was used in the interface.

The Premier approach to multilingual products is unique. Schools do not need to purchase the English and French products separately. Because separate English and French licenses are not required, the Premier approach makes it easy to support French. These multilingual products also make it easy for parents with students in French Immersion Schools. The parent, often times, cannot speak or read French. Since the interface is selectable, students can use the software in French and parents can provide support by switching to the English interface.

The multilingual products and the French support are included in the latest version of Premier software products. These products have been developed in Canada to support the Canadian students. Schools can contact Premier for full working copy of our technology for evaluation; or, alternatively, a trial version of the software can be downloaded from www.readingmadeeasy.ca.
