Ellery S. Malkin Joins LifeCare® as Director of Product Management

LifeCare®, Inc., a leading provider of health and productivity solutions for employers nationwide, announced today that Ms. Ellery S. Malkin has joined the company as Director of Product Management, responsible for the oversight of strategy, implementation and execution of LifeCare products.

Ms. Malkin will work closely with LifeCare's senior management team, recommending strategies to improve market position and overall quality and to reduce operating costs. In addition, she will collaborate with the company's sales and marketing functions to drive business growth, launch new products and services, and explore new business segments and sales opportunities. She also will work with LifeCare's operations department to ensure that product quality and delivery remain superior.

Prior to joining LifeCare, Ms. Malkin served as general manager of Tauck World Discovery's Ventures Group in Norwalk, Connecticut, where she developed marketing and brand strategies for international tour products and product line extensions. Before that, she was senior director of product discovery at Healthways, Inc., one of the country's largest disease management firms, and senior associate brand manager at Kraft Foods, Inc.

Ms. Malkin earned an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, Evanston, IL; a Master of Arts degree in International Relations and Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies; and a bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Vermont. She also holds a Diplome d'Etudes Francaise from the Institut de Touraine in Tours, France.
