The Sea Level is rising in Fort Lauderdale. Debuting February 2010, Harbor Beach Marriott Resort & Spa's newest 160-seat oceanfront dining venue, Sea Level Restaurant and Ocean Bar, will provide unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean, perched 15 feet above South Florida's largest private beach. As an addition to the Fort Lauderdale luxury resort's premiere culinary offerings, which include Chef Dean Max's 3030 Ocean, Sea Level will be a scenic destination for hotel guests, local residents and foodies alike. Under the culinary leadership of Executive Chef Thomas O'Keefe, Sea Level will serve up approachable regional cuisine and expertly handcrafted cocktails.

Designed to reflect a modern South Florida ambiance, Sea Level's décor will include a large communal table, located in the middle of the dining room, which will serve up to 10 people. Exterior lighting will adhere to guidelines protecting the region's native sea turtles while offering unobstructed sunset views over the Atlantic Ocean.

Sea Level cuisine will be served in a variety of innovative vessels, from galvanized metal pails to cigar boxes. Daily specials will offer the finest local ingredients and bartenders will concoct new and exciting cocktails, taking inspiration from the latest food and beverage trends to set a new standard for Fort Lauderdale beach restaurants. A 30-seat Grab-and-Go will offer a takeout menu including refillable beverages and soft-serve ice cream.

Sea Level will be open seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The bar at Sea Level will serve up cocktails until 2:00 a.m. Valet parking will be available and all major credit cards accepted.

The introduction of Sea Level will be the final phase of a $50-million resort-wide renovation at Harbor Beach Marriott Resort & Spa. The multimillion-dollar project also included a $25-million floor-to-ceiling rooms and suites renovation, the 10,000-square-foot oceanfront ballroom and redesigned ocean terrace, an expansion of The Spa at Harbor Beach fitness center and the addition of a freestanding kids' clubhouse, the Harbor Beach Surf Club.
