Sarcone's Deli, an award winning Philadelphia landmark, has signed their first franchisee in the state of Delaware. Louis Sarcone, Jr. and Anthony Bucci, owners of Sarcone's Deli, recently decided to expand their 90-year old brand name through a limited franchise offering to the public and are proud to announce their newest franchisee, Jim Tuerff. Jim will be bringing one of Philadelphia's strongest brands to Delaware in the fourth quarter of 2009.

Sarcone said, "We have had customers traveling to our South Philly location from Delaware for years. We successfully expanded to New Jersey and the Philadelphia suburbs, the next logical area would be to offer our unbeatable menu to the folks in Delaware."

Bucci added, "The quality of our food and the bread is why we have won so many Best of Philly Awards. We are excited to finally be able to offer it in Delaware. We have had lots of customers from Delaware in South Philly, they can't wait for Jim to open his Sarcone's Deli. Jim loves food and is a smart business guy. We are very excited to have him join the Sarcone's franchise family."

Jim has been successful in the medical equipment industry for a long time and was searching for his next career. Who knew it was staring at him over the counter of his favorite lunch spot. "I love eating at Sarcone's Deli and have long regarded it as the ultimate in Philadelphia Delicatessens. Food is a passion of mine and when I saw the sign in Sarcone's Deli announcing they were franchising, I knew my search for a business was over. I called them immediately and can't wait to offer the best hoagies in the state of Delaware."

Doug Jackson, Director of Franchise Sales for Sarcone's Deli, adds, "Since Sarcone's is only offering a few franchise opportunities, the selection process is understandably rigorous. Jim immediately impressed us as someone who had the skills and passion necessary to run a successful Sarcone's Deli. Sarcone's current and future customers in Delaware are in for a real treat."
