Sarasota, FL (PRWEB) October 26, 2009
Real Digital Media (RDM), the provider of the innovative NEOCAST® digital signage platform for establishing point of purchase marketing, promotions and corporate communication networks, today announced that its CEO, Ken Goldberg, will lead a presentation as well as chair a panel discussion at The Digital Signage Show 2009. The presentation, entitled "Coexistence Versus Convergence: Digital Signage, Interactive Applications and Their Future", is scheduled for Tuesday, November 10th, 2009 at 10:30 a.m., EST. The panel, entitled "The 5 W's of Advertising on a Venue's DOOH Network" will take place Wednesday, November 11, 2009 from 11:45 - 12:45 p.m. at the Jacob Javits Center in New York.
The presentation will focus on the future convergence of digital signage and interactive applications, such as kiosks. Mr. Goldberg will discuss the important ways both approaches help impart information to consumers, employees and others, and outline the reasons why both tools remain separate technologies today and why true convergence is unlikely. In this session you will also learn:
- The fundamental differences between digital signage and interactive applications
- What each approach can learn from the other
- Where the boundaries for convergence are likely to be and why
- How all of this impacts decision-making and infrastructure
Panelists for the "5 W's of Advertising" include Rob Hoyt, Retail Concept Manager, Seventh Generation; and Leslie Armour, President, Youth Marketing Group for Tween Brands and The Tween Network.
These industry executives will provide their thoughts on why advertisers participate, why venues launch DOOH networks, and provide valuable insights into the world of advertising on a DOOH network. Attendees for this session will also learn about:
- The Who, What, Where, When, Why and How of advertising on a venue's DOOH network
- Why advertisers choose DOOH as part of their media & advertising mix
- Why venues launch a DOOH network and subsequent success rates
- The questions you should ask and how to integrate DOOH into your marketing plan
Ken Goldberg, the session moderator, states, ""It will be interesting to hear from Leslie and Rob and learn more about the motivations, strategies and expectations of retailers and advertisers with regards to digital out of home advertising. With the industry coming of age, and more brands looking at DOOH, this will be of interest to all participants in the digital signage industry. I'm sure the audience will be engaged."
The Digital Signage Show offers an in-depth look at how digital signage and digital out-of home media can bring increased brand impact and sales, as well as improved customer experiences and revenue for organizations. Attendees are end-users (venues/end users from retail, government agencies, hotels, airlines, food service, etc.), brand marketers, advertising agencies, out-of-home networks and buyers from other manufacturers who are looking to source components for their deployments.
"Successful digital signage implementations require the collaboration of a number of disciplines," explains Lawrence Dvorchik, General Manager of The Digital Signage Show. "Understanding how these disciplines interact and overlap is the first step to developing a sound strategy to incorporate a digital signage network that aligns with a company's specific business objectives. Our hope is that our attendees gain valuable insights from these discussions that can help them make informed decisions and move forward with more successful deployments."
