Duesenberg TruePower,Inc. founders Keith Duesenberg, grand nephew of the famous Duesenberg brothers, and Tim Grose, 14 year veteran high performance high horsepower engine builder, announce the formation of Duesenberg TruePower.
Duesenberg TruePower will assemble high performance, high horsepower engines for powerboat, dragster, short track and NASCAR applications.
Drawing on the experience and knowledge of Tim Grose in racing engine building, Keith Duesenberg will "hit the road" following the incorporation and funding of Duesenberg TruePower as its number #1 salesperson.
The product offered (named "Duesenberg" with color green as it was some 96 years ago) will be a double overhead cam engine DOHC (with the exception of a possible NASCAR spec. engine possibly introduced as early as 2011). This engine has few equals in durability and horsepower/ weight ratio. "Pump gas" versions have turned out 1200 horsepower with very low rpm demand.
Additionally, these engines are very expensive, and a modest penetration in available markets will produce very good bottom line results indeed.
For seed capital, the new company is offering a promissory note (or combination of notes) in the principal amount of $175,000. The notes will bear interest of 25% and principal and interest amortized with 36 monthly payments.
Minimum note purchase $17,500. Equity participation can be discussed, a Subchapter S election is preferred.
