What makes Geutebruck video security so appealing to both system designers and end-users is its flexibility and, even more importantly, its scalability
Freeport, NY (PRWEB) October 28, 2009
NYMPC has been approved as an authorized Geutebruck solutions provider, enabling the company to install and service Geutebruck's IP and hybrid video products to businesses and governmental agencies across the United States.
Geutebruck's high-end video recording platform is the most advanced technology of its kind in the industry. Its turnkey video solutions offer seamless integration and migration from analog to hybrid and on to pure IP systems.
"Geutebruck technology is used to monitor and protect a vast range of secure facilities and infrastructure around the world," said Mark Fischer, executive vice president and chief technology officer at NYMPC. "Their video recording and system management solutions are capable of meeting the highest security requirements - at levels of reliability and performance you can't find anywhere else in the industry. Simply speaking the system excels in areas where other manufacturers products fall short of expectations. We're excited to make this technology available to NYMPC customers."
The Geutebruck platform can provide analytical packages to meet needs from simple virtual fencing to image-class analysis with rules based on object size, speed, and direction. The technology also employs Camera Position Authentication, which ensures that cameras are pointed at their intended targets and have not been sabotaged or tampered with.
Unlike other IP solutions in the marketplace that require tremendous amounts of bandwidth, Geutebruck's system utilizes Dynamic Live Streaming to control network traffic without sacrificing quality. The system can playback even MPEG4CCTV video in forward and reverse smoothly, from frame to frame, without loss of quality or with the residual artifacts seen in most other systems. In applications such as law enforcement interrogation rooms, full lip-sync audio is available on each channel.
"What makes Geutebruck video security so appealing to both system designers and end-users is its flexibility and, even more importantly, its scalability," said Wayne Wahrsager, president of NYMPC. "Its systems are highly compatible with each other and with other manufacturer's systems. Plus, all components are designed with future technology in mind, so that integration is always seamless and very cost-efficient."
Geutebruck's software and hardware are developed by its own in-house production unit, ensuring superior system reliability across all platforms.
The monitoring platform is completely customizable from single user to a full video central station, allowing virtual matrix monitoring of an unlimited number of cameras and locations. This makes it an ideal solution for a wide variety of applications, including industrial campuses, government complexes, school systems, universities, rail systems, casinos, stadium complexes, high-rise commercial and residential space, as well as shopping malls, power plants, and fuel storage depots.
