Chicago, IL (PRWEB) October 28, 2009
Jameson Real Estate would like to announce and honor one of its own agents publicly for her induction into the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) Network. Carlotta Olson, who has been active in the Chicago Association of Realtors (CAR) as a member of the Chicago International Real Estate Council (CIREC) and has her Transnational Referral Certification (TRC), is now certified by the network, which recognizes members who have achieved the necessary training and experience to work successfully with international clients and properties.
To earn the CIPS designation, realtors must complete rigorous coursework devoted to learning cultural differences and international business practices. Designees must also prove achievement in international real estate transactions. Olson joins a distinguished society of 1,600 real estate professionals throughout the world who have earned the CIPS designation.
About her work in Chicago, Olson says, "Whether I am working with a client to list their home, or finding the perfect home for a client, it is always great to share my Chicago real estate expertise," she explains. "Chicago is a city of great neighborhoods that are always fun to explore for their unique finds, be it shops, restaurants, or cultural attractions." Regarding her international work, Olson has the same excitement, which led her to achieve the designation by the CIPS Network. She has developed and maintained significant personal, socio-cultural and commercial relationships internationally, with special emphasis in Mexico (Puerto Vallarta), Italy and Slovenia.
In an era of expanding global business and technological innovation that truly makes all people world citizens, the need for an international perspective is something important for everyone. Jameson is pleased that they are able to bring international expertise to the local Chicago real estate market through Olson's hard work and enthusiasm.
