InventHelp®, America's leading inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Houston, Texas, has designed a personal-care accessory that would make it safe and easy to wash a child's hair in the bathtub. This invention is patented.

The "Hair Wash Helper for Children" would eliminate the need to lean over a tub or a sink while washing a child's hair. It could enable children to lie back comfortably and relax, and would help the adult to maintain complete control over the process. The invention would reduce the likelihood that children will fuss or struggle, making the whole situation less stressful and frustrating for both the child and parent.

The device would consist of a smaller, four-legged recliner produced from foam and plastic. A safety strap that operates like a seat belt would extend across the middle of the unit. A dial located at the side of the seat could be used to adjust the incline of the chair, and the user could adjust the length of the device by turning a locking knob at the side of the seat. To use, the adult would adjust the length and incline, place it into a bathtub, and the child lies atop the seat to get their hair washed. After washing, the adult would dry off the seat and store it. The Hair Washer Helper for Children could be produced in a variety of colors, with decorative designs or decals.

InventHelp® is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor.
