Dresses for a Cure receives a donation of hundreds of prom dresses, shoes and accessories to use in their fight against cancer.

Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in women, exceeded only by lung cancer. PromGirl.com, (http://www.promgirl.com) an online retailer of formal dresses has chosen to support the fight against breast cancer with a donation to Dresses for a Cure of hundreds of new prom dresses, prom shoes and accessories. Dresses for a Cure collects all types of prom dresses and accessories to resell at special event sales during the year. The proceeds of these sales are used to support cancer research. This program supports the fight to find a cure for cancer as well as offers affordable dresses for the public. Their next sale will is scheduled for November 7, 2009, in Worcester, Massachusetts at Compton Place.
