In order to use the My Showroom feature, users of the site must first become Free Members. Once signed up, free members are directed to the project area of their own personal My Showroom area. An introduction video will begin to play that will help new users to the My Showroom features to organize home projects.

Many home improvement projects can be very difficult to plan out, but with My Showroom, it has become a much easier and more logical process. Users will notice that each feature is set up with the familiar tab layout.

When the Title tab is highlighted, there are fields to type in the title and description of the project and choose a related category from the drop down menu. Users can also upload their project photo that will become the primary photo for the project they are creating.

The Photos tab allows users to upload as many photos of their project as they desire. This is usually done after a project is completed and along with their title and description, their home improvement photos can be displayed in a slide show in the Showcase Gallery for the Showroom Community and entire world to see.

For Building Professionals, My Showroom can become a very valuable resource where they will be able to showcase their work. Plus retail suppliers can display numerous products for free.

My Showroom also includes tabs that allow users to chose from the thousands of Products, How-To Articles, Home Improvement Videos, News Articles and Home Improvement Advice from Ask Rick Questions within Showroom411 and upload them into their My Showroom Project. They can even bookmark pages on the site and bring their own saved bookmarks into their home improvement projects. And, if they ever need help with any of these features, they can click on the Watch Video button, to get full video instructions on what to do.

Each project then, is very unique and there is no limit to how many projects a user can create. From within each My Showroom project, users can click on the Showcase tab to view how their project will look in the Showcase Gallery. They can even view the entire organized content of their project at once by clicking on the View All tab. My Showroom makes it very easy for users to manage all their home improvement projects, and edit their profile as well.

Showroom411 continues to bring you the latest home improvement advice, features, news, products, how-to articles, videos, reviews and much more.
