America's Next Top Model
New York, NY (PRWEB) October 28, 2009
"Reality Shows" are launching careers, especially if they have the foresight to sign with a good Manager or Agent. Just ask MMG's (NYMMG) Laura Leigh Siani who became a star in demand after playing herself on ABC's Hit Show "True Beauty". She finished 3rd on the show but 1st in audience appeal and popularity. Laura Leigh has already received the starring role of Skylar on the soon to be released SAG Feature Film "Cougar Hunting" which is loaded with established stars.
MMG prides itself for taking a leadership position on recognizing the value of "Reality TV" participant's talent that have bonded with the audience, and are now considered "recognizable" talent because they have a valuable fan base. Just this week MMG signed Lisa Ramos's contestant on the current season of "America's Next Top Model" to an "Exclusive Contract" and has already begun pitching her for endorsement deals. Most of MMG's "Reality Talent" have already appeared in Primetime TV shows or Feature Films. MMG has more signings on the horizon. At least one more of "America's next Top Model" is expected to sign after the show and MMG is also expects to represent America's Choice Amanda Arlauskas who is currently starring on a popular primetime show for NBC.
MMG's primetime talent continues to land jobs once believed to belong only to those who were well trained established actors and actresses. Recently, Samii Ryan landed the Principle role of Amanda in "Blue Valentine", a SAG Feature Film, Starring Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams. Samii's role is directly opposite Ryan, a thrill for any new actress. Once on the set, the Directors and Producers continuously expanded Samii's role and now she is anticipated to have a very prominent role in the film. Samii also just finished filming a scene for Wall Street 2 and has been cast for a lead role in another SAG Film.
Also, continuing the trend, MMG's ever popular Dawn Richard formerly of the "Platinum Recording" group Danity Kane and MTV's "Making the Band" booked a SAG Feature Film and MMG's "America's Next Top Model" Sheena Santana appeared on "Gossip Girls" and auditioned for "Victoria's Secrets".
MMG's two new most promising models, Cassidy Foley and Alexa Benk, also landed a Pilot for a New Modeling TV Reality Show that includes among its' cast Neil Hamill the former President of Elite Models and a former Director of Ford Models New York. With two of the three models coming from MMG (NYMMG), the trend of crossover talent from Modeling to TV continues. In the past, MMG- Model Management Group models have appeared on numerous segments of Project Runway and America's Next Top Model.
MMG Canada continues to land a host of major campaigns listing as new clients the 2010 Vancouver Olympic sponsors, Pan Am Games, Coca Cola, Virgin Mobile, Braun, Hess, FIFA, TD Trust, Nokia, Bose, Finance Canada, Heineken and Episodic "Body Language" on cable network "Showtime".
MMG specializes in managing "beautiful people", for modeling, print, commercials, television and film. MMG's Celebrity Division consists of name recognizable stars from shows such as America's Next Top Model (ANTM), NBC's Momma's Boy, ABC's True Beauty, produced by Tyra Banks and Ashton Kutcher and the enormously successful Sopranos.
