After a global catastrophe several clans band together to fight those who seek power and dominance.

Opusland, a futuristic novel by Stephen Beever, has been published by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc. of Pittsburgh.

Succumbing to thousands of years of abuse, our planet suffers a cataclysmic event, forever changing the landscape of the entire world. Those who populate the land following this global catastrophe must evolve and adapt to the strange new environment they inhabit. Similar species gravitate together and form clans and lay claim to whatever territory they can. Not all species, however, seek only sustenance, shelter, and peace. Some lust for power and dominance, and it is this compulsion that wreaks havoc on the already fragile world. In order to defend themselves, their families, and their homes, several clans come together to fight their common enemies. Though very different, they are bound by their mutual desire to survive and later find they may have more in common than they once thought.

Stephen Beever resides in Wigan, England, where he is a principal mechanical engineer. He and his wife, Lisa, have three sons: Jonathan, Michael, and Mark. In his spare time, he enjoys riding his motorcycle and singing karaoke.

Opusland is a 82-page paperback with a retail price of $10.00. The ISBN is 978-1-4349-0182-8. For more information or to request a review copy, please visit our virtual pressroom at http://www.dorrancepressroom.com or our online boosktore at http://www.dorrancebookstore.com.
