Prior to joining the Vanella Group, Williams was the Managing Director for Taylor Winfield Inc. a leading executive search firm. There, Williams specialized in recruiting sales and business development executives for early stage, venture backed technology companies. Williams began his career in sales with NBI, Nortel and Octel Communications. He held various sales and sales management positions at Octel as it grew from $50M in sales to $ 650M. Williams then joined five startups as VP of Sales and Business development working for Venture firms such as Kleiner Perkins, Mohr Davidow, Trinity Ventures, Sequoia Capital, Onset Ventures, Voyager Capital, and Foundation Capital. Mitch holds a BA from Columbia University and an MBA from The University of Phoenix.
