With over ten years' merchant development experience at some of the biggest online retailers, Situl will be pivotal in the development of brand awareness, merchant partnerships and customer proposition for Savoo.co.uk.

Thakrar's role will be to replicate the huge success Savoo has experienced in the U.S. over the last two years, initiating new partnerships and developing existing relationships already in place, such as with Tesco voucher codes.

Thakrar started his online career working for Playboy TV, developing its online customer experience and marketing initiatives. He then moved on to become Head of eCommerce for Ann Summers/Knickerbox group, where he grew the online sales business and developed a number of 'first-to-market' online and mobile initiatives. Prior to joining Savoo, he managed Associate Marketing at Amazon.co.uk.
