Stafford, VA (PRWEB) November 2, 2009
MTCSC, the fastest-growing defense contractor in Stafford County, has introduced Phase II of its Center for Technology (C4T). Phase II of the C4T added a large amount of space to Phase I of the project and provides additional conference and work areas.
The C4T vision was designed and constructed by MTCSC to provide an environment for Industry, Government, and Academia to develop solutions for customers seeking answers to their toughest problems. Phase II achieves that through its innovative design, expanded workspace, and adherence to National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM) standards.
"Our company has been inspired to create a collaborative environment which is committed to enhancing our ability to solve our customer's thorniest problems. Our employees and customers have the most creative, high-tech, and innovative environment to help all of us to create the future," says Dave Camarata, President of MTCSC. Phase II of the C4T not only added additional space to the existing Phase I project, but also added more synergistic work areas that are conducive to on-the-spot collaboration sessions. Employees and customers have the latest, cutting edge technology to work with when trying to solve some of the toughest issues in the industry.
"MTCSC's C4T and applied Research and Development efforts continue to be one of the top investments we are making to ensure our clients achieve unparalleled success," says Greg Trevarthen, Vice President of Programs. R&D focuses energy in gathering information and determining the state of the market to foster ideas and initiate development. R&D works side-by-side with Academia, Government, and Industry leaders. The C4T plays an important role in allowing those interactions to happen.
George Hinckley, a senior advisor for MTCSC, says, "The new technology center allows smaller contractors to compete with bigger companies by working together." The C4T provides a space that encourages these types of partnerships. The newest addition allows companies and universities to work together to develop products for government clients. Some of the modern workspace design in Phase II of the C4T includes open, Collaborative spaces, sleek, yet highly-functional furniture, and numerous conference rooms. Daylight is also used so that artificial lighting is minimized as much as possible.
Phase II combined with Phase I has made the C4T a hive of constant activity that facilities the application of the latest technology solutions. MTCSC created the C4T to provide customers and partners a world-class facility that provides Information Security and Assurance services, a Research and Development (R&D) department, Network Operations, Technical Collaboration space and Academia partnerships.
