AMSOIL Introduces Injen/AMSOIL Intake Systems at SEMA 2009 for Three New Diesel Truck Applications
AMSOIL has added three new popular designs to its family of Injen/AMSOIL Diesel Air Intake Systems, expanding its offerings for auto and light truck applications. Primarily used to increase the amount of oxygen available to the engine, intake systems like these also increase power.
Las Vegas, NV (Vocus/PRWEB ) November 3, 2009 -- AMSOIL has added three new popular designs to its family of Injen/AMSOIL Diesel Air Intake Systems, expanding its offerings for auto and light truck applications. Primarily used to increase the amount of oxygen available to the engine, intake systems like these also increase power. Cold air has a greater density than hot air, causing aftermarket intakes to improve combustion of fuel by causing the cool air to be captured from outside the engine compartment. They also add a sleek, custom look to the vehicle while improving gas mileage and performance.
Two of the new Injen/AMSOIL Diesel Air Intake Systems are available for Chevy Silverados.
2004 - 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500/3500 6.6L V8 Diesel (LLY)
2007 1/2 - 2009 Chevy Silverado 2500/3500 Duramax Diesel V8, 6.6L (LMM)
Gains of 13-17 horsepower and torque gains of 30-32 have been measured.
A third intake design, for 1999-2003 Ford 250/350/Excursion/Powerstroke 7.3L applications, has delivered +11 horsepower and a torque gain of 28.
