IMULAN BioTherapeutics, LLC has announced new programs targeting frustrating diseases in cats, including feline stomatitis (feline lymphocytic plasmacytic stomatitis, gingivostomatitis) and several feline viral infections, including feline leukemia virus (FeLV), feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), and feline infectious peritonitis (FIP). Using a new immune modulator (under development), IMULAN has progressed the technology into formal trials for feline stomatitis. Future work in FeLV, FIV, and FIP are being considered owing to the positive results from the stomatitis studies.
