About MOTO Android Media Platform (AMP)
AMP is a flexible and full-featured development platform designed to help customers accelerate product development and reduce time-to-market for their products. AMP facilitates user experience and interface prototyping, Android application software development, and fast-ramp, high-volume product development.

The AMP family of devices are flash-memory based, running embedded Linux with the ANDROID OS layer on a TI OMAP chipset. Complete software and hardware integration offers an advanced, multi-media ANDROID application development environment. AMP hardware offers a uniquely flexible architecture of a “baked” motherboard combined with a daughter card that supports customization of screen sizes (small to large) as well as a range of user input (e.g. touch, multi-touch, motion sensors, pen, GPS, cameras) and communication (e.g. Bluetooth, Wireless USB, IRDA).

MOTO completes the picture by providing comprehensive design, engineering and manufacturing services. MOTO provides AMP as the starting point for its clients and helps them customize the user experience design, hardware architecture, software architecture and mechanical design. MOTO will also help source, identify and manage the ODM partner to develop and manufacture your customized product and take it to high volume production.
