Crain’s BtoB Magazine Chooses White Horse-Designed Site for its Top 10 Great B-to-Sites
BtoB Magazine Recognized White Horse’s Web site design work for Trane In Its 2009 Roundup of “10 Great B-to-B Sites.”
Portland, OR (PRWEB) November 6, 2009 -- Crain’s BtoB magazine recently chose White Horse’s Web site design work for Trane commercial business for its 2009 roundup of “10 Great B-to-B Sites.”
White Horse became the digital agency of record for Trane in December 2008. The agency’s first task was to collaborate with Trane on the development of a global site roadmap to support the brand’s repositioning as a building services company. Under the roadmap, White Horse and Trane made interim improvements to the site’s usability in order to enhance performance during the run-up to a comprehensive rearchitecture and redesigned. These interim improvements attracted the attention of Crain’s BtoB magazine.
The magazine praised the site’s focus on usability, in particular the “multiple entry points into the same content,” designed to support a range of common user needs and behaviors. The partial redesign also added a flexible product search feature to enable search by model number, product categories, or vertical markets.
