Tyco Flow Control, which does business in 24 countries around the world with over 100 offices, enlisted Q to re-architect and redesign tycoflowcontrol.com and companion business unit sites.

Q defined an enterprise Internet strategy for Tyco, whose expanding international footprint had led to an inconsistent web presence and content management issues for the global supplier of flow management, water & environmental systems, and thermal control solutions.

“It’s very gratifying to create the digital strategy and platform for an innovative manufacturer like Tyco Flow Control, whose products can be found in so many countries and industries around the world,” said Brad Heidemann, Vice President of Client Services for Q. “We’re thrilled to be recognized for quality work that’s helping support and extend their global leadership position.”

Q also developed the plan for Tyco to merge more than 200 websites to maintain its brand consistency, messaging and presentation, and helped in the selection and implementation of a SDL Tridion Content Management Solution.

The W³ is sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, with winning entries judged based on a standard of excellence as determined by the IAVA. To uphold a high standard of excellence, categories, which are scored on a 10-point scale, may have multiple winners or none at all.

“On behalf of the entire Academy, we congratulate this year’s W³ Award winners as they continue to advance Internet creativity and greatly contribute to the robust and ever-changing online community,” said Linda Day, the executive director of the IAVA. “W3 winners continue to set the bar in web development and design, push the limits of web advertising creativity and advance the use of web video.”
