Anthony Travel Named to Dallas 100™
University and Sports Travel Experts Join Elite Company
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) November 7, 2009 -- Last night, Anthony Travel, Inc. (ATI) joined elite company when it was named to the Dallas 100™ for the fifth consecutive year and the eighth time overall. The Dallas 100™ Awards, co-founded in 1990 by the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship at the SMU Cox School of Business, recognize the top 100 fastest growing, privately held companies in the North Texas area.
To qualify for the Dallas 100™ Awards, a company must meet a number of criteria based on its sales growth, character, credit report, legal status, and location. ATI placed 41st on the list for 2009, the company's most commendable placement. This year’s recognition positions ATI as one of only two companies to receive this honor for five or more consecutive years since 2003.
“Great people working with great people – that’s a fun way to make a living,” said John Anthony, founder and CEO of Anthony Travel. “We are blessed with the opportunity to help people feed their passions every day. Travel, sports, universities, and helping people are a wonderful combination.”
The top 100 companies for 2009 were recognized at an awards ceremony at the Meyerson Symphony Center. Honorees enjoyed an interview with Sam Wyly, entrepreneur, author and founder of Green Mountain Energy. Lisa Bormaster, Publisher of the Dallas Business Journal, and Kevin Knox, Assistant Dean at the SMU Cox School of Business, served as emcees for the event.
