Sung in English, this beloved story by the Brothers Grimm is an irresistibly charming way for families to celebrate the holiday season. The Hansel and Gretel package combines prime seating and Holiday Afternoon Tea for four in the hotel’s scenic Lobby Lounge with luxury accommodations at Mandarin Oriental, New York - just steps away from the Met’s home at Lincoln Center.

Holiday Jingle Tea

The festivities begin with a private horse and carriage ride around Central Park for the ultimate “jingle bells” tour. After dashing through the snow, guests will return to Mandarin Oriental, New York for a deliciously decadent Holiday Afternoon Tea in the Lobby Lounge with stunning, scenic 35th floor views of Central Park and the Manhattan skyline. The Holiday Jingle Tea accommodates up to four people, is available to both guests and non-guests of the hotel and is priced at USD 450. Sky High New Year’s Eve
Known for being one of the best locations for stunning New York City views, Mandarin Oriental will host an array of festive activities to ring in the New Year. The 35th floor Lobby Lounge will bid farewell to 2009 with live music, dancing, delectable passed hors d’oeuvres and a Champagne Toast. The cover charge is USD 200 per person, and is exclusive of additional food and beverages. Chic MObar will also host New Year’s Eve festivities with hors d’oeuvres, Champagne Toast and party favours to celebrate 2010’s arrival. The cover charge is USD 90 per person, and is exclusive of additional food and beverages. The hotel’s signature restaurant Asiate, will delight gourmands with a grand finale feast. The first seating starts between 5:30pm – 6pm and features a four-course prix fixe dinner for USD 125 per person. The second seating, starting between 9pm – 9:30pm, serves a six-course prix fixe menu for USD 295 per person, showcasing the culinary team’s finest creations of Kumamoto Oyster, Langoustine and Wagyu Beef and includes Champagne at midnight.
