Jalasoft Introduced New Product 'Xian Wings 2010' for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007
Xian Wings 2010 makes it possible for network and server administrators to gain better control of their environments thanks to a special client application that works on their mobile device.
London (PRWEB) November 8, 2009 -- Jalasoft introduced Xian Wings 2010 for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007. Xian Wings provides users with a mobile operator console with many of the same features they get from their desktop. Among these features, Wings offers ability to receive real time alerts, graph performance data, manage state changes and execute system tasks against managed servers.
"With IT staffs getting smaller and IT complexity going up, systems management is a 24 x 7 job for most people," says Davor Pavisic, CTO of Jalasoft. "Xian Wings will give system administrators a break from being behind a desk or tied to a laptop. With Wings, an IT administrator can take Ops Manager with him where ever he goes and stay on top of issues any time of day or night."
As a native Blackberry application, Wings is able to provide immediate notification of new Alerts as soon as they are created. This platform also allows Wings to work over most 3G, Edge and WiFi networks.
"Blackberry devices are the backbone for many businesses. Other platforms will be supported soon, but this was the obvious starting point for Wings," comments Jeff Pollard, Jalasoft Sr. Business Strategist. "The fact that it's a native Blackberry application, with a look and feel that users are familiar with, will make Wings easier to use and provide value quickly to Ops Manager users."
Xian Wings is scheduled to be released on January 25th, 2010 but hands on demos will be available at the Jalasoft Expo Booth during Microsoft Tech-Ed Europe 2009 (November 9-13).
